Anat Baron is the Chief Financial Officer, responsible for the University’ of Haifa’s finance, budget and control, as well as payroll, procurement and logistics.

Baron is a certified accountant (CPA, Isr.). She holds a BA in Economics and Accounting and an MBA, both from the University of Haifa .

Baron has extensive experience in finance, accounting and audit spanning some 20 years.

Prior to joining the University, Baron serves as the CFO of Haifa Chemicals Ltd (“Haifa Group”), a multinational corporation and a leading supplier of specialty fertilizers. Baron managed the company’s global financial system, including the Group’s financial strategy, management accounting, financing and taxation systems. Prior to her role as CFO, Baron was the Group controller and head of the financing and reporting department. Before joining Haifa Group, Baron worked as a Senior Manager at Deloitte, where she managed audit engagements in public and private companies from a variety of sectors.
