Advocate Ofer Bar-On is an active lawyer and notary with vast experience in Civil Law, corporate law, Administrative Law and Litigation. He also acts as an arbitrator and mediator, and chairs the municipal tax appeal committee in the city of his residence. Since Ofer merged his law firm in 2021, he became a senior partner at Arnon, Tadmor-Levy, one of Israel’s leading law firms.

Ofer studied Law at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem (1985), following economics studies at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia. 

Ofer has been a member of the University of Haifa’s Friends Association for two decades, and serves as Chairman of the Board of the Brain Research Center at the University. He is also a member of the Israel-Hungary Chamber of Commerce, and is deeply involved in the local wine scene. 

Ofer is married and has three grown up children and a granddaughter.
