Prof. Kobi Rosenblum

Senate Representative

Prof. Kobi Rosenblum is a Full Professor in the Sagol Department of Neurobiology at the University of Haifa’s Faculty of Natural Sciences, where he heads the Laboratory for Molecular and Cellular Mechanisms Underlying Learning and Memory.

Prof. Rosenblum’s research focuses on understanding how the brain encodes, consolidates, and retrieves information, and how these processes are affected in neurological and cognitive disorders. His multidisciplinary work integrates approaches from molecular biology, neuroscience, and psychology to investigate brain function from the cellular to the behavioral level.

With over two decades of experience in applied neuroscience research and development, including postdoctoral training with Prof. T.V.P. Bliss, FRS, at the National Institute for Medical Research in London, Prof. Rosenblum aims to translate fundamental discoveries into new insights and potential treatments for conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease and related neurodegenerative conditions.
